Facebook, the bigest social media giant couldn’t resist popularity of animated GIFs in the News Feed, and is rolling out support for that feature that will soon be available for all users. As one of the explanation given, Facebook plans to give their users more fun, and animated GIFs are the best in their opinion when it comes to expressing things with your friends on their platform. Posting animated GIF is pretty straight forward, as all you have to do is to paste the link to it into the status update box, and then click ‘post’. After your post is published, the GIF will be animated. Similar to video auto-play functionality Facebook introduced some time ago, GIFs will auto-play on Facebook inline too, but in case autoplay is disabled, user can tap or click a GIF to play it. The new functionality means that users will be able to share on Facebook GIFs from any website. You don’t have to use just ones from GIFTY website. We are pretty excited, are you?
